The Social Circus Foundation is proud to take part in Cirkaskina. Thank you to Cirque Hors Piste for organizing and including us.
The national component of CHP, Cirkaskina, was born following the first national social circus meeting which brought together 150 youth from 17 Canadian communities in Montreal in January 2020. Cirkaskina, meaning “all together” in the Atikamekw indigenous language, gathers partner organizations and marginalized youth from across Canada.

OUR GOALS

Facilitate networking activities between youth, practitioners, researchers and social circus organizations.

Promote and strengthen the recognition of the circus arts as a tool for social transformation.
